After more than 40 years exploring the forest of Fontainebleau, we create the climbing equipment we need to climb, with a pioneering spirit and a constant focus on innovation.

FONTAINEBLEAU, OUR PLAYGROUND

It’s hard to know for sure whether bouldering originated here in Fontainebleau, but it’s not unlikely.

Its thousands of incredible rocks are an irresistible invitation to play with verticality and gravity. Fontainebleau, or simply Bleau, is a unique playground and our open-air laboratory!

Since 1996, the Fontainebleau forest has also been our testing ground. It allows us to design products, test them and adapt them immediately to the needs of climbers.

It was here, in this unique setting, that the first climbing shoes and the first circuits were born. The BBZ adventure also began here with the very first crash pad in Europe in 1996, followed by the Triple Pad and, since then, numerous innovations… A true pioneering spirit has reigned in Fontainebleau since the early days of climbing.
